The Kenai Chest Holster was designed as the ultimate way to carry a firearm when hiking, hunting, fishing, or any other outdoor activity.

We settled on a blend of Kydex and Nylon for excellent retention characteristics, weatherproofing, and lightweight. The Kenai Chest Holster is a perfect pairing with a modern firearm such as the Glock 40MOS or a classic big-bore revolver such as the Ruger Super Redhawk.

While not offering the customization options that a Custom Kenai Chest Holster offers, this is an excellent option for our customers who aren’t as picky with their colors or patterns and want their holster fast. We stock holsters for the most popular firearms from Glock, HK, Ruger, Smith and Wesson, SIG Sauer, Springfield, etc.

I started buying Kenai Chest Holsters 8 years ago, primarily for secondary protection while hunting in areas where fangs and claws are abundant. After realizing the comfort I got from carrying a Glock G20 around for 12 plus hours in a chest rig, coupled with the quick accessibility to my pistol. I figured I could use this same setup for my EDC pistol(s)… I now own 10 Kenai chest rigs for the pistols/revolver that I shoot often. Tonight I’m buying my 11th chest holster for a Wilson Combat Carry pistol. I religiously wear a GFI chest rig every day working on the property. After all these years of use and abuse from hunting and working the only thing that happened, to any of my chest rigs is, I wore out the harness on the holster I’ve worn daily for the past 8 years-that’s it! I’ve never had a cracked holster. I’ve never had the retention loosen to where my pistol felt sloppy or moved while doing all sorts of hunting acrobatics. Because of the comfort, accessibility, and security having my firearms in a Kenai Chest Holster. I continue to come back again and again whenever I purchase a new pistol. As for the customer service from GFI? Well, it’s a sampling of one, when I called them to buy another harness. The guy that answered the phone was stunned that I’d worn it out - he’d never had that come up before. Instead of me buying a replacement harness. GFI, sent me a complimentary one. I guess my review is a long worded way of saying, GFI, is an awesome company, that has made quality holsters from the jump and they employ solid, friendly, individuals. Thank you, GunfightersInc MLP

I bought one for my Ruger Super Blackhawk 4 5/8" for Hunting, added a Fixed Blade Knife and an ammo pouch to the Belt. It has Good Retension!

Just wow! S and w 629 6 inch carries like its not even there. Hip holster pulls my pants down. Construction and overall quality are excellent.
